Europe-China Academic Network (ECAN)
http://www.ec-an.eu/
The European Commission has initiated the Europe-China Academic Network (ECAN) as a mechanism for promoting EU-China knowledge and research within Europe. In view of China's growing economic and political influence, the need for generating and maintaining high-quality analysis on China is greater than ever. It is of the upmost importance that the EU is able to follow and assess developments in China when further defining and articulating its strategy and policies. ECAN will establish closer cooperation amongst the research and policy-making communities to create an environment for informed input and exchange.
